Recently, we discovered that the Buddy loves meatballs (except IKEA’s Swedish Meatballs, weird because they’re delicious!). A little after that, we discovered the Buddy loves most foods that can be put on sticks. Tonight’s dinner turned out to be Meatballs on Sticks, and man, did he love it!

Check out the Teriyaki Meatball Recipe! It’s cheap (under $8 for 6 servings) and really easy! I served these on toothpicks with Jasmine rice, some stir-fry veggies, and pineapple. Huge hit here! I’m sure you could modify it too by using beef, ground chicken, or ground turkey.

Honestly, I’m super jazzed about this recipe because the Buddy ate it! And recently he’s decided to be über picky!

And here’s another recent popular dish, which I also served on sticks, a la beef teriyaki from the Chinese take-out place! Mongolian Beef – he ate it all! I cooked it as the recipe states, then took some of the sturdier pieces and put them on chopsticks!

So there you have it! Two foods the Buddy will eat other than Peanut Butter and Jelly or Macaroni and Cheese…score!

A big thanks to Budget Bytes and Iowa Girl Eats for their yummy recipes that have restored my faith in the Buddy eating!

Are you eating anything good this week?
